The Success Story of the 5th International Conference on Food, Nutrition, Health and Lifestyle 2023 (NUTRICON 2023)

The 5th International Conference on Food, Nutrition, Health and Lifestyle 2023 (NUTRICON 2023) held from 03rd – 04th August 2023 in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia in hybrid platform. NUTRICON 2023 was organized under the theme “New Challenges and Future Perspectives in Nutrition and Sustainable Food in Post Pandemic & Climate Change Era”. The conference was organized by The International Institute of Knowledge Management (TIIKM), Sri Lanka.

The conference united diverse researches and case studies from all over the world, in parallel sessions while offering many networking and publishing opportunities. Moreover, the conference welcomed 110+ Academics, Researchers, Scholars, Activists Industry Leaders and Professionals from 21+ 𝐜𝐨𝐮𝐧𝐭𝐫𝐢𝐞𝐬 across the globe.

Inauguration Ceremony and Keynote Speech

The opening remarks of NUTRICON 2023 were made by Mr. Isanka P. Gamage (Co-Founder & Managing Director – The International Institute of Knowledge Management (TIIKM), Sri Lanka) and the Conference Chair Prof. Dr. Nupurdji A. Taslim, Md., Mph., Sp.G(K), (Director of Clinical Nutrition Residency Program, Hasanuddin University, Indonesia).

Dr. Padmini D. Ranasinghe is an assistant professor of medicine at the Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine. Her areas of clinical expertise include hospital medicine, internal medicine, preventive medicine and public health. Dr. Ranasinghe serves as the director of education for the Hospitalist Program. Dr. Ranasinghe earned her M.D. from the University of Colombo Faculty of Medicine in Sri Lanka. She completed a Yale-Griffin internal medicine/preventive medicine combined residency in 2006, and received an M.P.H. in chronic diseases epidemiology from Yale.

Participants from over 21 Countries NUTRICON 2023 brought together over 110 participants (50 Physical + 60 Virtual) from more than 21 countries around the world, including from: among the many nations represented. The Conference provided an opportunity for participants to share their valuable knowledge from various perspectives. This conference had the representation of almost every continent and region from across the world and provided a global platform to share views and ideas in the fields of Food, Nutrition, Health and Lifestyle, as well as to network with international colleagues.
