Prof. Dr. Nurpudji A. Taslim, MD, MPH, SPGK (K), FRSPH is a distinguished academic and expert in clinical nutrition, currently serving as a Professor in the Department of Nutrition, Faculty of Medicine at Hasanuddin University, Indonesia. With a medical degree (MD), a Master of Public Health (MPH), and board certification in clinical nutrition (SPGK (K)), she has made significant contributions to the fields of nutrition, public health, and medical education. Prof. Taslim is renowned for her leadership in advancing nutritional science, especially in the context of public health and non-communicable disease prevention. Her interdisciplinary approach combines clinical practice with population health strategies, aiming to improve nutritional outcomes in Indonesia and beyond. As a Fellow of the Royal Society for Public Health (FRSPH), she is recognized internationally for her scholarly contributions and dedication to evidence-based public health interventions. Over the course of her career, Prof. Taslim has been actively involved in academic research, policy advocacy, and health system strengthening. She has led and participated in numerous national and international research initiatives and has published widely in peer-reviewed journals. Her work has significantly influenced nutrition policies, particularly in maternal and child health, community-based interventions, and the double burden of malnutrition. In addition to her academic achievements, Prof. Taslim is a mentor and educator, committed to cultivating future generations of health professionals. Her leadership within the Faculty of Medicine at Hasanuddin University has helped position the institution as a hub for excellence in nutrition education and research.

Bonglee Kim, M.D., Ph.D

Dr. Bonglee Kim is an Associate Professor at the Department of Pathology, College of Korean Medicine, Kyung Hee University, Seoul, South Korea. He also serves as the Chair of the Department of Cancer Prevention Material Development and Group Leader at the Kyung Hee University Korean Medicine Reinterpretation Cancer Research Center. Dr. Kim earned his Ph.D. in Traditional Chinese Medicine from Kyung Hee University and completed postdoctoral research at Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center in the United States, where he specialized in anti-cancer molecular pathways. His research expertise includes cancer prevention, drug development based on natural products, molecular oncology, and bioinformatics. Dr. Kim has published extensively in international journals, holds numerous patents related to cancer therapies using traditional herbal medicines, and actively serves as a guest editor and editorial board member for several leading scientific journals. His work bridges traditional knowledge with modern biomedical innovation, aiming to develop new therapeutic strategies for cancer and chronic diseases.

Prof. Suryani As’ad is a Professor of Nutrition and Dean of the Faculty of Medicine and Health at Universitas Muslim Indonesia, while also serving as Director of the Health and Nutrition Clinic at Hasanuddin University. With over three decades of academic and clinical experience, she has made significant contributions in nutrition science, metabolic health, and public health research. She has led numerous studies on functional foods, clinical nutrition interventions, and maternal and child health, with her recent work focusing on therapeutic nutrition, wound healing, and obesity management.

Beyond academia, Prof. As’ad has held key leadership roles, including Vice Dean for Academic Affairs and Scientific Publication at Hasanuddin University and Chief of the Health Research Ethics Commission. Her active involvement in national and international scientific bodies underscores her commitment to advancing health research and improving community well-being.

Distinguished Prof. Chin-Kun Wang

Dr. Chin-Kun Wang is a distinguished professor in Chung Shan Medical University (CSMU), UN Goodwill Ambassador, President of International Society for Precision Health. Former President of International Society for Nutraceuticals and Functional Foods (ISNFF), Fellows of IMS, IAFoS, ISNFF and IFT, Honorary President of Nutrition Society of Taiwan.

He got his MD, Ph.D. degree from National Taiwan University and worked at Chung Shan Medical University in 1993. In 1996, he promoted as a full professor, and then took the positions of the Chair, Dean, Vice President and President at CSMU. His research work is focused on human clinical trials and human metabolism of medicine, nutritional supplement, dietary behavior, nutraceuticals, herbs, and functional foods. Recently he also pays great attention on precision nutrition by using big data.

He got the National Award of Biomedicine for his great contribution to the medical education in 2008. He also got the awards of outstanding research of many societies from 2009 to 2024. For food safety and nutrition, he promoted the legislation for school sanitary law and national nutrition law. And now is working on the nutrient fortification for all life spans and set up the two way AI platform.

In 2024, Dr. served as an UN Goodwill Ambassador, he tries his best to treat zero hunger and work together with the scientists around the world and would like to promote the advanced development of health.

Prof. Andrew Kiri Amegovu

Professor Andrew Kiri Amegovu is a Professor of Human Nutrition and Dietetics and Director of Research and Publications at the University of Juba, South Sudan. He holds a PhD in Human Nutrition and Dietetics and has established himself as a leading voice in African-led responses to food insecurity and malnutrition.

His work advances resilience-based nutrition systems through the development of locally formulated therapeutic foods derived from indigenous food resources. His expertise includes the treatment of moderate acute malnutrition among children under five and pregnant and lactating women, alongside research in food safety, obesity, and nutrient profiling of local foods.

He is currently collaborating with Harvard University to develop a smartphone-based AI model for malnutrition screening in children under five in Karamoja, Uganda and Kapoeta, South Sudan. He has also been proposed as Principal Investigator within a European Union research consortium developing locally sourced RUTF and RUSF formulations for Africa.

His work integrates academic research, technological innovation, and implementation science to advance sustainable nutrition systems across East Africa.

Isanka P. Gamage is a Global South Knowledge Diplomat, global collaborator, and entrepreneur, and the Co-Founder and Managing Director of The International Institute of Knowledge Management (TIIKM). 

Through TIIKM, he has been at the forefront of elevating Global South voices onto global academic and policy platforms, fostering meaningful collaboration between the Global South and the Global North. His leadership spans education, knowledge management, research and development, and international conference management. 

Isanka has convened over 375 international conferences, founded three international journals, and built global knowledge platforms supporting sustainable development and interdisciplinary research. His work has connected Nobel Laureates, ministries, diplomats, industry leaders, and an academic network of over 450 universities and 2,000 scholars worldwide. 

He serves on the Board of Studies of the Institute of Management Sri Lanka, is a certified NLP practitioner, and delivers mindfulness-based leadership and wellbeing programs internationally. 

Currently pursuing a Doctor of Business Administration at the University of Kelaniya, his mission is clear: 
to transform conferences into platforms for lifelong collaboration and real global impact—especially for the Global South.
